absolutely would love to, but I got some plans with the girls, some finish or such foolery, oh and since I can't carry a pack this weekend, someone has to sherpa all my crap for me... tent, bag, pad, couple cases of beer, bottle of jameson, my diary (no peeking!), tv/vcr, hair dryer... nothing too extravagant, just the usual stuff

Yeah, you're right, it isn't a big deal, but it's fun to see how we are attracted to this new feature and how we respond to it. I wonder if it will lose it's appeal in a couple weeks. Remaining friendless is just my way of having fun with it! A nihilist, eh? Wow...I'm more of just an absurdist myself.
