  • Thank you for the green square...I'm hoping there is a good resolution in the future to this matter. There is certainly going on than appears on the surface/thread.
I have to lead a work trip on Cube on the 6th, so I can't make it to see Scott on Flume. :-(
I haven't signed up yet for a summit for the bird watch, but I'm leaning towards Wolf....
    What summits do you have?
I am doing my Mountain Bird watch surveys the weekend of June 6th. When are you doing yours?
I have three sites so I will be there for three days. I can't really get to my adopted trail just yet for maintance (lyme problems still) but have asked the superviosr if I could do something on lower Glenn boulder. Are you going to be in the area? I heard that you might help Fisher Cat on Osseo.
tanks! nancy is a sweet spot, the outlet of norcross pond and the view from the nancy slide are two really really nice places to visit!
Thanks Jason..things progress well..my planned first 4k will be second week of June as things look now..feeling strong..
Thanks for the greenie Jason. I think that if someone were to hit on me on the trails, with the way I look all sweaty and generally nasty-looking, then that someone would be a very desperate man indeed....
Coltsfoot! so that's what those are called!!! The Catskills are swimming with those (saw a bunch on a road walk in Spruceton Valley on 4/5)
BTW the most recent "Backpacker" :)eek:) had a thing about Moose mountain having a lot of moose. Is this true? i.e. have you seen any there?
Sounds good Jason. I am very busy the next couple of week ends though. My wife is moving her store and I am slave labor. I also had a hernia operation about a month ago and I am still recovering from that.
Jason, I tried to reply, but my PC burped. If you get this twice, please ignore:

I had meant to email you earlier, but forgot you on the distribution list (BAD MARTY!). Larry D and I were going to join Rocket21's group doing the W. Ossippees on Saturday, but rain is forecast. We may be interested in Sunday, assuming we can get permission. I would love to consider hiking with you again. It has been too long!

    Hope all is going well.
    Marty
    Hi jason

I'm planning to stay up Montpelier at Sub-Sig Schoolhouse weekend of April 3. I'm planning to bag as many of 4K's Ellen, Abraham, Mansfield as I can before mud season starts. As you live in Vt perhaps you'd be interested in accompanying me. We could post something in trips and events.
Too much fun. Instead of working on my badass pose, I think I should fly a kite on each of the 48... :) Might pose a problem on a few of the summits, but I shall persevere!
Thanks guys! It's good to share a birthday with such esteemed company!
Ididn't hike...but I was on Everest(At Disney's Animal Kingdom)! It was my first roller coaster! Puck and DB, right back at ya!
