  • You're welcome (for that green square) and yes, it was regarding Jimi Hendrix. It's akin to just being able to touch the hem of the master's garment! See you out there, --Mike.
I am in for sunday..sorry to have dropped the ball ontuesday but i wrestled with myself all night..still not sure who won but comfortable in my decison not to do Bonds
Hell, if I had known you were wussing I would have talked you into the Tripyramids!
    See you sunday??
Thanks for the square. We joked about snowshoes on the way up but were suprised to see snow as low as the Bondcliff JCT. Good base up high forming.
I would definitely be interested in a hike, but I'll be on my way back to MA from MD on Sunday. WIll be up the weekend after though. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving as well. Seems like you did, since hiking was involved.
Mark -- thank you for the green accolade. We would have liked to have had you along on the hike, as well...but I know your conservation commission benefited a bit more.
Hi Mark, Thanks for the greenie! I have done the other end of the C-R and it is beautiful.
Nice to see you back doing ambitious trips after your surgery.
Hey Mark! Thanks for the BDay wishes! Yes, it's mine, and BELIEVE IT OR NOT I'm older than Tim. Ha Ha Ha. Oh well, you are only as old as you let yourself become! Personally, I'm just out of school. ;-) Sorry we missed you at C-Man!
Thank you, Mark! It's funny how those "bad" weather days frequently end up being the ones with the best views. Can't wait to hike with you next week. It has been FAR too long. :)
Mark, Congrats on completing round 5! So glad you made it this year...now for round 6...
Grumpygran (who is not grumpy in LA!)
Thanks, Mark. I brought a drugstore with me -- valium, codeine, etc. -- just in case anything went wrong. Nothing did, back-wise. Hugh knew where we were and was standing by in case he needed to assemble a posse and come and get us (if we weren't back by a certain hour, that is). Everything still feels good today. Have know idea how it happened or how it got cured. Mystery.
    Mark,
Thanks for the greenie...have just learned how to send thanks so please accept thanks for all the others you sent before I learned to mend my ways!
Thanks for the square, Mark. You know, we'll probably do this trail a few times on the winter, too (definitely early on after the first couple of snows to track it out before we lose the blazes), if you're interested in coming along.
Thanks for the green square and the comments. THere is beautify in hiking solo and with friends. And I agree -- hiking with a group just magnifies the joy!
You lucked out weatherwise this week although Saturday is going to be bad up in the Presies. Are you hiking on Tues? Mary and I are still trying to whittle away at the 52 list.
Going to Pinkham this afternoon we will be doing Slide Peak on Sunday. Have fun in RI with Mom!
