It was fun! It was good group! The sandwich line went well, and all three came home saying their teachers rock! Thanks for the cookies! Good luck with the gardens.
Nice to meet you too. I wish my wife could have been there yesterday to meet with all of you. We usually hike together, but she was having some knee issues. Keep in touch.
You have a great memory. We did meet you and Michael J at The Mountain Wanderer last Fall. Steve's place is always a good spot to meet VFTT'ers. We met Rocket21 there last winter and it's alway nice to talk with Steve. Hope you and Michael J had the chance to celebrate with Trish and Alex on completing their quest to climb all of the 48, four thousand footers. We were on top of Cannon mountain last winter to see Dave Bear complete his 48; this was before we were sponsered by Trish.
We are planning our Fall trip to the White Mountains and hope we'll meet again.
Mike and Donna
You wanna be my friend? Cool with me. Just keep in mind that I'm a troublemaker, I never remember birthdays, I get moody, I'm broke and always borrowing money, I'm passive-aggressive (whatever that means), I have a high carbon footprint...
Thank you so much, Sabrina. I'm seriously interested in doing that OH/Twins/Bonds loop... or any hike! Let me know when you're up for a trip to the Whites.
I think that was the other one, but I forget their names. I think the 3 dogs she had when I met here have all passed to doggie heaven but not entirely sure... I know I miss my two cats when they go... But they're young and rambunctious, hopefully not til 20 years or so!
Did you ever meet Susan (banjolady) when you lived around Marist??? Not sure if you heard but Shady, her dog, just recently passed away. :-( She posted a note on her Harrimanhikers yahoo group and I'm not sure if you ever met her when you were around here... Anyway, Oct 2nd is a friday and I'll be posting the location sometime in September once I get a more accurate head count...
Thank you! I wonder if I am the first Asian or first Cambodian to complete the NEHH?
I have been picking away the 3K's list. There are 453 of them, I have done a good amount of it, but haven't quite decided to do them all. are you interested?
