..so my statment would not change and I really see nothing wring with NFS publishing a "closed" status to communicate potential danger. I don't see it as a power grab. I see it as them simply trying to tell those a little less informed that they really shouldn't be out there.

What is happening and what was predicted are two different things. If it went as expected and someone decided to go out because it's their right should SAR have to risk their lives to save them? If the closure didn't happen that would be expected. So does the "right" to be there override the...

...as was noted in the other thread with this notice if you choose to go and have a problem don't expect a rescue. No need for SAR to take a risk because somoeone chooses to go out in what are advertised as adverse conditions. Makes sense to me.

I'm curiious on how they get those things to fit all the different toe types. I'm one where the 1st toe after the big toe is longer than the big toe. Some folks have toes that go pretty much straight across. Do they have different styles to accomodate different foot/toe shapes or do you need...
