    North & South Hancock via Hancock Loop Trail 3/11/12

    Sunny warm day. Cedar Brook and much of the Hancock loop was hardpacked snow. Barebooted until ascending North Peak where the snow softened a little, and put on MSR snowshoes. Kept snowshoes on rest of the trip.

    Mt. Liberty via Liberty Spring Trail 2/12/12

    Trail is well packed down all the way until close to intersection with Franconia Ridge. Then there are a few inches fresh snow in trail. Quite cold but with warm clothes it was okay. Used microspikes the whole way. The summit was foggy but got some glimpses of beautiful mountains.

    NE Cannonball via Lonesome Lake & Kinsman Ridge Trail 12/18/11

    Well marked trails. Snow is packed down for most of the way. Above Lonesome Lake there are patches of ice where microspikes are helpful. Cold, sunny day. Breathtaking views from summit of Cannonball. Great hike with Sasha(Red Oak)
