1-6-07 Allen

I am doing a winter climb of Allen on saturday, if it isn't raining of course, and not to far below 0 degrees. Anyone want to join me? It will be an early start. We will be hiking by 6am, so meet at the trailhead around 5:45am.

only supposed to be in the 50's, which of course means more rain.
but i'll be there, if it's not too wet.

Are you sure you should be hiking in mud season?

Is the 8'' snowshow rule still in effect or have they amended it to the eigth of an inch rule?

If you get too hot you can always cool off in Lake Jimmy.

I'm going to be up in Placid for the weekend. I gave it some thought, but you're way on the wrong side. Is there enough snow to glide in past the cut off??

Rented a cottage at Prague Inn, so stop in or call if you can get over for a beer. Be at the mountain on Sunday for races.
