This report has a lot of names and references which people may not know unless they are in my running group! But hopefully some of you will enjoy the smattering of info and pics either way.

Tumbledown is a really fabulous mountain and it makes no excuse for its size. It doesn't need to. The trails each have their own charm, some are quite steep and others are tame. Worth multiple visits.

Yes, one of my friends in the pics is a geologist; he taught us the fancy word.

I need to go back too, still want to check out Little Jackson's summit and also the ridge behind the pond.
