2 day grafton loop (7-11+7-12-14)

Started from north @ 5:30a counterclockwise. west side and get to stewart site at 7:30 p.m. on day 1. finished east side day 2. weather was excellent, sunny 70's, low humidity. bugs bad in spots with variety, sparse in most spots.

It was a flawless outing, until the down hike of w.baldpate. I could feel burning in my toes, i don't usually get any blisters. By the end I had painful blisters on my toes. maybe not enough hiking lately or the insoles i added? also rolled my ankle on a loose rock with 4 miles left, surprised i didn't sprain it or break it. After doing this trip in 2 days, I prefer the 3 day version, because Stewart site is not a favorite of mine and the hike seemed rushed at times. see you next year glt!
