You can keep an eye out for her, but you better keep your eyes off her if you know what I mean.... ;)

We gotta get Harry a woman-Any ideas?

I got it. Mail order. If we all chip in $5 we could get him a left over.

P A R T Y !

Spence,

Cool! Let's do it again ...without rain! Count me in and let me know what I can do to help out.

MichaelJ - you lie... those are not pictures of LAST YEAR - it rained! Remember?? We all had to bail!! Those pix have sunshine and blue sky in them...

Darren - I've got me a kayak to join you with now. Think things are around to paddle in the area one day? Have any plans for early summer (rather not Memorial Day as you did last year, if possible?).

Harry, how mighty kind of you. I'll help you out. You carry the beer and I'll watch over Carmel. Like the mucky Webcaptain doesn't trust us Pirates, eh??

OK
I think I will be coming
Maddi do you or anyone know how many children may be attending and possibly ages?
I am contemplating bringing my 6 and 8 year olds.
Just wondering if there will be others to play with or will I go insane?
thanks

I will look forward to coming again Spence and Maddi....
And I think we should start planning an assault on Hoffman Mt!
Tim can take lead machete....

There will be kids here. We have a 12 year old, Eric. And last year Jordan, Nick, Ashley and a few others were here. We have a pool and the kids are welcome.

How about Hoffman and Blue Ridge?

Hiatis - Maddy, nice to see you on here ;)

AJ - Ashley is 11 and Nick is 14 and they'll be there. I know Ashley would LOVE to have other girls there to play with. She loves younger kids too. No Problems.

BIGMOOSE - Hoffman AND Blue Ridge ....... It's all good, so long as there ain't no trail, I'm good with it :)

I think I'd like to make this. I've never been to a gathering, but the photos I've seen/stories I've heard and read make it sound like a lot of fun. I used to go to the ADKs as a kid w/ my dad, and I have over the years as an adult, but I've only hiked a little. If all goes well, this will be the first year that I really get into the High Peaks. By August, hopefully I'll have been up a few times.

Matt

Ajtiv,

My son Jordan had a great time hiking/swimming with the above named kids. I hope to bring my wife and daughter (9) this year and go to Lake George from there. I'll probably show up real early Sat morning because the camp i work in ends on that fri. Hike sat and sun, then off to Lake George. sounds great on paper hope it goes off that way! We could also introduce our kids before that on an easy hike somewhere..

I posted a while back that Pat and I were finishing up our 115 on Marshall on Thursday, August 18. We've moved that to Friday, the 19th, so others can join us. Also, it may be a two-champagne-bottle party if a certain VFTT'er decides to wrap up his 46 with us. I won't name him in case he stands us up. :D

As I said before, we are doing the Sewards starting on 8/13, staying at Calkins Brook for 1 or 2 nights, and then Dix and Hough via Round Pond, staying at the Boquet River lean-to for 1 night or 2. I know we could easily hike out and not need to stay the extra night on either trip, but we get to sample more of Little Bear's cuisine.

All are welcome to join in.

Only 2 bottles? What will Pat drink? I'm there for the 19th, and have the day off (starts my 8/19-9/5 vacation). I'll also be staying a few extra days after Spencer's BBQ to nurse my hangover, er, I mean, climb a few extra peaks

Will anybody be bringing musical instruments?

Hi all--

I used to live in upstate NY and started on the 46, but moved back home here to Washington, but have been itching to get back to the Adirondacks. I came across your site, and that of Guinness, too. So count me in too! At this point I'm planning to fly into Albany on the 18th, and can take the Trailways bus up to Keene Valley, unless I can make some other arrangements. Looking forward to it!
