I've been trying to get my brother into hiking, we have little in common and I was hoping this would be something we could do together. I brought him on his first hike last week (Mt. Willard) and he enjoyed it. This week I brought him up to Mt. Webster and he seemed to enjoy it even more. Hopefully he will become a regular hiker.

A beautiful (but chilly) day for a fall hike!

Your pictures are absolutely breathtaking. The last two of Washington and wildflowers along Bear Notch Rd are some of my favorites!!

Is that Bear Notch Rd?

Thank you!
The last two pictures were taken from Rt. 302 (at the scenic overlook as you enter Crawford Notch State Park).

What a wonderful idea introducing your brother to hiking so that you both have something to share together : ) I think that's great!
Loved the pictures you took in Crawford Notch with the wildflowers and the mountains in the background, really nice.
Thanks for sharing.

Wide Angle Lens?

Great photos. What were you using for Camera Gear. Did you use a Wide Angle Lens?

Thanks, I have a Canon G3. The lens is a standard camera lens (built into the camera). The only extra gear I use is use is a polarizing filter.
