Bill Cronin completed his grid (48x12) today on the bone-chilling summit of Mt. Hale accompanied by a small contingent of friends. It was a chilly 15 degrees below zero with a five mph wind on the summit. Summit celebrations were quite hasty as we said some quick congratulations and quickly dipped back below treeline. Afterwards we headed to Skeets Pub in Twin Mountain for some excellent pizza and beer. Homemade desserts were also shared there since it was too cold to linger long on the summit today.
Everyone bundled up as Bill makes his way to the summit of a very chilly Mt. Hale for peak #576.
Delicate frost on eyelashes due to the 15 below zero temp.
Congratulations, Bill!
