An incredible day on the ridge. Calm winds, perfect temps, fantastic visibility all led to a wonderful day. Only saw a handful of souls all day including an exuberant group of five who were whooping and hollering on summiting Lafayette. Good job guys!
Fangs of ice.
Mt. Liberty and a plethora of peaks. From the summit of Lafayette, I could see Macomb Mountain over in New York, a distance of 107 miles away. Not very often viz is that good.
Washington.
The Hillary Step of the White Mountains.
Blue, blue skies.
A boarded up Greenleaf Hut.
Looking back along the ridge.
This guy circled the hut.
And then flew off to the south and out of view.
Guyot's and Bonds.
Lafayette, North Lincoln, Lincoln.
Winter is coming. The ice is forming. But where's the snow?
