I had planned to hike Mt. Moosilauke tomorrow via the Gorge Brook Trail then down Carriage Road to Snapper Trail. I have been hearing some reports that recent rainfall has made solo hiking in the Whites a bad idea this week. Anyone have any information on trail conditions?

I haven't been out toward Moosilauke in awhile, but I can say that trails were wet and streams were high this weekend. Things dried out a bit later Saturday/earlier today, but there's a powerful storm that's been hitting the area since around dinner time. Lots of flood warnings up again, etc.

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing too. We didn't do Field/Tom today partly because of that, plus we've been doing a lot of driving lately. It's gets tiring driving so much, just took a down day today......hung around the house and did some stuff....
