glad you made it back. and glad you had a great time regardless of a summit trip or not.

and i second the request...pics!! pics!!! pics!!!! (anxiously awaiting....)

Looks like you guys had a great time! When we hike I'll let you carry my pack so you stay in shape... glad all went safe, cause I don't know if I would have wanted to be on some of those pitches... the one of MountainGirl on the mtn side near the river looks scary!!

awesome pics! You left me wanting more, though...

I especially like the "cairns"

call me stupid, but how did those huge packs get to basecamp if you only had those little packs during the river crossing early in the pictures???

glad you guys (and gal) are back safe and sound with a great story to tell!

yeah, but where were they?

:)

According to the schedule that Frodo had sent me, they handed over their gear to the Muleteers and the gear was transported until they met up with them at base camp to get their gear. If the water was high on the Vacas River, 2 mules were to help them cross it but given Arm's pictures, they crossed the river on foot.

Hola

Welcome home mi amigos.
I have a headband with a chinese letter on it which means:
"The destination is the journey."
So true, isnt it!
Maybe it's not "how high", but "how often"?
Climb on!
I hope to see you soon.
Hey Arm:The Cocabanana Band is at Sunday River for the grande Parrot Head weekend.
March 31 and 4/1 and 4/2. Diez Dos Equis for tu?

Great pictures Arm. I was in the southern portion of Argentina at the same time you were at Aconcagua. I was rooting for you and shooting WOOHOO! to give you encouragement. Its always tough not to make the summit but it looks like a great experience anyway.

See you on the trails.

I'm going to figure out how this one is a hoax, like the US landing on the moon. I bet these pictures were really taken in New Mexico or Nevada.
It looks like the Shaw's parking lot near Packards Corner in Boston...
