Date of Hike: August 17, 2008
Trail Conditions: Muddy with wet rocks down low, dry and WINDY in apline zone.
Special Equipment Required: Poles, light jacket, and good waterproof boots.
Comments: Adams summit was socked in with clouds, and when I arrived, it looked deserted, until I saw a dozen or so people scattered about hiding from the wind under rocks! View of Madison from lower down was nice, view from Madison was only so-so by the time I got up there. Still, a nice day given how most of this month has been. 5 hours and 45 minutes round trip.
