Nice pics, Steppin', thank you for sharing them. Did you get to see Flags on the 48 for either peak? Personally, I missed it by a day with Lincoln and Lafayette last Sunday, but the very nice weather more or less compensated.

By George! Dayton, I do think you are going to finish up this year. Been a long time coming. How was the stay at Madison Hut? Couple nice pics. Thanks. Keep on movin on my friend!!! Look forward to seeing a finish to the 48.

Kerry, Nice to hear from you. Yes, I plan to finish with the two Hancocks, next week. Madison Hut worked perfectly as a base for Adams & Madison --- and the amenities were great for Sue's Birthday (a big number for her too.) I'll be watching for some of your winter trip reports.
Driver8, Thanks for the comments. I was on Madison early Saturday before the flag arrived. The wind nearly knocked me down twice --- not sure how they managed later in the day. The Jefferson FOT48 crew spent Friday night at Madison Hut. I've seen a report and photo showing that they made it there through all that exposed terrain and were able to raise a flag!
