This looks great! Thanks for continuing to make these pages such a valuable resource. I used your site constantly as I made my first pass through the 48 and I still refer to them quite often in planning new hikes.

Looks great to me. Google Maps is such a great tool to add to your site. You might consider making the routes clickable with a description of the trail (mileage/gain).
It is always an adventure learning a new interface.

For me, at least, they are clickable and show precisely distance and elevation gain. Note that I am the owner, your mileage may vary.

Let me be more precise: on routes using more than one trail the "main" trail has the mileage and elevation gain for the whole trip. Click on Tucks and you get its stats, click on Boott Spur and you get the stats for the trip using Tucks, Boott Spur, Davis and Crawford. Click on the Davis Path segment and you get nothing.

Did anyone try the directions? I have been thinking for years of incorporating directions to trailheads in my site.

google map sites

I must say both uses of google are well done...will provide much useful information. Thanks

I am planning to add interactive Google Maps to my site; one big advantage is that they will allow you to get driving directions. Please take a look at my experimental Mount Washington page and tell me what you think.

Thanks!
Nice addition! Everything works well for me. Will the tracks ultimately be downloadable?

Excellent!! This is fantastic. Your website is such a valuable resource -- thank you for this great contribution to the hiking community!
