Loved It

The wonders of YouTube! I did that race years ago and it is SO cool to be transported back. I still recall so many specific little spots like Hayes Creek. I did the glacier bypass while John swam and got flushed WAY downstream. Oh the hypothermia, sleep deprivation and pain!

The race goes three years on one course then moves to the next course. This allows folks to get comfortable and get their times down before moving on.

I did three courses, this one (Hayes Range), Wrangells and Brooks. There are a few others as well (Kenai, Talkeetnas).
