Albuquerque Hiking

I have the opportunity to spend a few days in Albuquerque in mid august. Any suggestions for hiking or mountain biking?

If you have more time to kill, take a drive to nearby Petroglyph National Monument.

Head out of town to Bandelier National Monument -- some great hiking there.

Depending on how far you want to travel from Albuquerque there's also Tent Rocks (http://www.blm.gov/nm/st/en/prog/recreation/rio_puerco/kasha_katuwe_tent_rocks.html) which has cool slot canyon to hike through and El Malpais (http://www.nps.gov/elma/index.htm.
