Allen Bridge over Opalescent is out

I also need allen and dont want to go it alone if I dont have to. .

LOL! There were something like 23 people on Allen's summit last year when we hiked it....had thought it was a solitary peak that no one visited, out in the middle of nowhere...boy was I surprised! Funny day...

I am happy to read your stories about your hikes to Allen.
Me I never been up there and it is one of the 4 summits I need to complete my 46.
Now that the Allen Bridge over Opalescent is out, if somebody had new developpements or informations, it will help anybody like me who need that summit.

But, like you said, adirobdack46r, my B plan is to cross the river without the bridge. But for that, I will wait that the water level is low and warmer water and ambiant temperature.
