Any sense in attempting MacNaughton this year without waders?

I did it a few weeks ago from heart lake. The stream that you cross after the lean-to was very high. If you come to it, it's the one with the giant breached stone dam, go upstream and cross in the slack water. After that, the trail is mostly a stream, with a few bog crossings that will posthole your leg up to your crotch. All in all, it was a great hike, and the water only made it more interesting. The ranger at the loj didn't think we would make it to the summit that day. The bushwack up the mountain is dry, and the only definitive trail is on the summit ridge, which will lead you right to the sign.

There has to have been dry weather for at least a week. There's a boggy marsh you have to cross up by the lakes. Be careful. They look dry. I sank to my hips once.
