Approaching Slide from the Neversink

Alright, all. I can commit to the weekend of 9/20-21. The following weekend, I'll be bagging some Jersey peaks that are on private property because the owner is being gracious enough to let us on their land then.

We plan to try to do the Slide hike this monday... logistics permitting...

I did this exact hike a few years back and it was a blast. We hiked up the river and camped sans tent near the end of the valley. We cooked steaks on a grill and basicly enjoyed the remote setting. The next morning we followed the feeder brook as far as it went and soon poped out onto the WS trail. Up Slide the fun way and back to Denning via the PE trail which seemed like it didn`t see too much traffic. Great loop that can be done in a day but we wanted to sleep out one night.
