Arm's 115 (foiled Rooster Comb attempt)

We briefly thought about postponing this trip to wait for a better weather day because we noticed a small cloud interrupting the endless blue sky, but soon realized that it was just from a jet, so we continued on…

You should have contacted the pilot to confirm before heading out...this is how accidents happen!

Too little ice for crampons, and too much ice to get hurt on.

I just love it when there's too much ice to get hurt on.


The first time I ran into Arm on the trail was near Mt. Guyot and he stole one of my hiking partners...One of the pretty ones at that!
