AT Through Hiker Lost and Site?

I'll post this here and the mods can move it if need be. Before I do a ton of Googling, is there one web-site that through hikers go to look for lost items? I was descending Beaver Brook Trail yesterday and a SoBo (reasonably sure, had the look and smell ) passed me. About 5-10 minutes later I found what I'm also pretty sure was his 2 light sources. No way in hell could have turned around and caught up to him. That's one steep F-er. But if he's got somewhere to look, and a way to do so, I'd like to post it. Can't be too far away at this point. I'd try and get these to him.

Your probably right. But why make someone have to register to post in Lost and Found? A bit of a PITA.
