Autumn from the Air: A Landscape of Slides 2013

So...my father wanted to take a plane ride so I mapped out a flight plan from Santanoni to Giant and everything in between. Ninety minutes and 1,000 pictures later we landed. It was a bit odd spending such a short time to photograph slides that took 8 years to climb! Here's a few shots of the Adirondacks painted by the hand of God...

Giant East Face.

Basin East and SE Faces (aka Northeast Shoulder Slide).

Upper Wolfjaw's Beaver Meadow, White and Sabre Tooth Slides.

Dix Lobster Claw Slide...doesn't look so much like a claw from up high!
