coldfeet I haven't been hiking much lately due to work but I am glad I came out for this one.
When you say you met a great group of people hiking you should know we consider you one of those people.

Thx everyone it was a lot of fun over the past few years.....got that weird feeling of "emptiness"...

Mark...For sure I want to see the other towers, 100-200 HH that's ok...I'd like to see more waterfalls...great one off shaft 2a in Minnewaska (sp?)

Al.....We gotta tag up at the Black Forest.....looks like I'll be doing those once a month hikes for the next 2 months...can't believe May is almost here....

UFC - no pain no gain! But I need to go back to your area in the summer and check it out...also want to get more chocolate covered peanut butter balls!

Artex - 4 out of my last 5 hikes had beautiful views.. the best out of all the others....The big guy up there was giving me great weather...little cold for April but I was prepared..

Also the folks that I went with were awesome...

Al great pics....loved the last one....reminds me of the big fig nueton! now that the weather is breaking I'll find out how my knees are.....will start going back to the gym to walk on the treadmill and try some swimming....

BTW, regarding Black Forest, that is one park that will actually close during certain hunting seasons so don't forget to check to make sure they are open before you go...

I believe the NYNJTC will post it on their website. Mostly it's fall deer season but I'm not sure if they have a spring turkey season...
