Baldpate's broken out?

I was thinking of climbing the Baldpate's in Maine on Saturday.
Anyone know if they are broken out or likely to be broken out? I am told it can be hard to follow/find the route otherwise. Is that the case? How are the conditions? Thanks a lot!

I saw a post from a couple that did them other day. They said, it was brutal trail breaking, but they did summit. They said, up high they were crawling under tree's. Hope this helps.
