Barren Chairback Range (100 Wilderness) Marathon 8.11.13

I was ready for my next challenging day hike and this hike fit the bill and I have been thinking about it for a while. The Barren Chairback Traverse is about 17 miles but I didn't have a car spot so this was my alternative. Otter Pond Trailhead to AT to KI to Gorham Chairback Lodge via Henderson Brook , AT from Third Mountain Trail and back to start on AT. 29+ miles and 6000' vertical. Lots of pics and full details at my blog. This one wore me out more than the Presi Traverse last month. Great day albeit exhausting.
