Baxter State Park Authority website re-design

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone else posted this previously. If so, I will remove the thread.

The BSP Authority has a redesigned website: http://www.baxterstateparkauthority.com/

Some highlights include bolder colors, bigger fonts, slightly easier navigation (IMHO) and a Google Maps finder for the campgrounds.

The Google Maps finder for the campgrounds, presumably here: http://baxterstateparkauthority.com/miscPages/MapCampground.html doesn't seem to be operational.

I am very happy to see the "click here for day hiking Katahdin" parking reservations front-and-center. I don't know about having to give a specific vehicle at the time of the reservation as that could easily change by the time you get there... and then what?

Campground "details" use a bunch of icons without any key or tooltip - not clear what each one means... (edit) ahh, there is a key but you must click it... it may be better but it's still not professional or polished as web sites go.

My first reaction to this news was "finally" and "sweet". And then I clicked on the link and it changed to "Oh".

it may be better but it's still not professional or polished as web sites go.

Baxter SP moves at a different speed than the rest of the world. But at least it is a step ahead.
