Moose can happen anywhere, anytime, even the first stretch of Wilderness Trail on a Saturday. As I quietly peddled, a cow appeared in the trail up ahead and looked at a group of hikers just beyond. I stopped and drew my camera as she looked at them. Then she looked my way and saw me, then stepped across the trail and into the forest...

When I reached the group of hikers they were upset, in a happy way, because they said they desperately wanted to see moose. Hope they saw one anyway.

This little fairy creature was hovering over the Bondcliff Trail. It flew like a dragonfly and I was able to get quite close to it...

I asked a hiker to take my pic with my camera...everyone seems to have this pic of themselves, right? The nice hiker agreed and took a pic, then suggested the true classic pic was taken from the adjacent cliff. As he walked over, which was a kind act, I realized he had my precious camera and he was heading toward a cliff. So there I was posing for the pic while this total stranger had my binkie on the edge of a cliff. It was ok in the end.

Patrick . . . your photos are simply gorgeous, and are a never ending source of delight with each of your postings.

And for this particular posting, I must admit that you cracked me up with your comment as quoted above! Such a succinct statement which I’m certain is reflective of your feelings at the moment.

Sounds like that scene from European Vacation... glad it turned out fine in the end! Bet those were a couple of uncertain moments, though!

Great photos as always - thanks for sharing them!
