We walked into the Zeeland Hut (Laurie, Whichway, ManBearPig, Paradox, and moi), Saturday afternoon. We saw a large beaver right along the trail in the swampy area! We were down to a single layer and used either bare boots, micro-spikes or snowshoes to get to the hut. At the Hut, we had a great time, chatting with other hikers, and hearing about conditions. As expected J&J showed up around dinner time, and we shared some Views and Brews! :D

The next day, we were underway at 7:30. The temperature had risen through the night from 36 to 48! We quickly layered off as we slowly climbed up to Zeecliff. The views never disappoint here! :) We plodded on to Zeeland, dropped packs, and tagged the summit. (1 and 43). As we broke out of the trees heading towards Guyot, the wind picked up. It was so warm, that we really didn't care. MBP was drying his clothes at the summit! :D On we went back down below tree line, dropped packs again, and headed down and up to West Bond. (2 and 44). Soon we were on Bond proper, where Paradox met up with his girlfriend, Karen, oops I mean Cairn! :D (3 and 45). We could see Bond Cliff below us, and after a brief rest, away we went. The breeze on BondCliff (4 and 46) was almost calm. We stopped for a while, took off most of our clothes  (MOST!), our boots, and even socks, and sat around soaking in the weather and the views. The rocks were almost completely free of snow and many were dry.

But of course, we had a long way to go, so we reluctantly left and headed down to Lincoln woods. The crossings were all do-able, but I'm sure this information is useless now. The slog continued for hours. We were finally back to the car a little after 6:00.

So just 2 more to go! (Stay tuned :D )

Great trip guys, thank you for inviting me along! I've been quite busy, but I will take a look at photos tonight.
