If you're following along at home here are the answers to the unanswered.
#1- The two fault lines are the Ammonoosuc fault line which is the one just north of the Pliny Range, the second is the Pine Peak fault which is located between the Crescent Range and the Presi's.
#2- The 4 peaks named years after the expedition of the Lancastrians in 1820 were: Clay, Webster, Jackson, and Clinton.
#3- In 1820 the Lancastrian party, escorted by Crawford, stopped and drank the water from what we know as Lakes of the Clouds. Crawford noticed that due to its temperature and rapid ingestion by the party's members that their countenance became blue-faced due to its cold temp. Henceforth, he called them Blue Pond, and several maps for many years labeled them just that, Blue Pond.
#4- The Inn at Giant's Grave was called the Old Moosehead Tavern.
Well, that's all folks. Hope you enjoyed. It was, of course, easier for me cause I read the book, but I enjoy sharing the info and thanks for those who provided answers.
And, if anyone has info or has seen Ethan Allen Crawford's initials carved in any rock near Jacob's Ladder (see earlier posting in this thread) please let me know!
