Caffeinated rodent!

While packing the car after skiing at Waterville today (excellent conditions!), I poured the remaining few drops of coffee from my mug into the snowbank and a tiny round chocolate brown field mouse charged out of nowhere and started rolling in it and gulping it down. What a gorgeous little creature! It took a piece of bagel calmly from my fingers and then sat leaning against the car tire. We had gently nudge it away before leaving. Hope nobody squashed the little guy.

Aww - I hope so, too!

SR had sweet conditions today, too, once the wind hold (on virtually everything above South Ridge) was lifted. I managed to get 5th chair up Spruce and into first tracks on Risky Business.

Saturday, however, was beyond incredibly amazingly awesome.
