Due to logging activity in the area, we were able to drive in over 4 miles to the start of the bw - parking at a large plowed-out spot. We don't know how far this road was plowed.
Surface conditions were very good - a mostly supportive crust with a few inches powder, occasional nuisance spruce traps.
We started from the SW in a clearcut that soon changed to whippy woods and occasional dense ice-snow laden spruce. Forest density ranged from OK to fairly dense. We were never blessed with open woods.
We walked around a fairly flat summit with a few bumps of similar elevation until we found the supposed highest bump.

Hopefully you didn't stop at the tree with the yellow "X" on it, as that is not actually the highest point.
