Canon lens question

Anybody have this lens? According to the reviews, the biggest cons seem to be weight (don't care about that) and lens creep (do care about that). Anyone have any experience (or know someone who does) with this lens? Thanks.

Hi Billy,

No experience with that lens...but remember that if you are sticking a 28mm on a digital sensor that is smaller than 35mm, it is hardly a wide angle. You are headed into the 'normal' lens range with that. If that matches your style...the lens has great reviews. If you usually like shooting wide...pick up a lens that starts zooming from 17 or 18mm...
