Car Broken Into at Bowman/Castle Trailhead, Randolph, NH

Just an FYI that my car was broken into at Castle Trailhead in Randolph, NH. Rock thrown through rear side window of SUV. Stuff pulled out through window. State Police officer said that, during the summer, they were having 2 - 3 thefts a week along Route 2. So, heads up.

That stinks I assume it was over Labor Day Weekend. I was parked there myself over the weekend, but was fortunate I guess. Appalachia was pretty full with some cars parked overnight I wonder if there were issues there. It is so discouraging! Thanks for the heads up!

It truly does stink and no punishment is too soft on the losers who do this sort of thing. I recently made a reservation for Grand Falls Hut on the Maine Huts and Trails route and was cautioned about break-ins at the trailhead.
