Morning Lefty, Actually I was up there doing Trail Angel stuff. I picked up a young woman who I worked with seven years ago on the AT Corridor in the Mahoosucs. She was part of a three person Corridor Boundary crew that was brushing out and remarking the AT Corridor Boundary from the NH/ME line to Trident Col. I was a volunteer who worked with them for a week She just finished her Masters in Cartography and GIS and is now doing an AT thru hike Southbound. So far I have picked her up in Bangor, delivered her to Baxter and hiked "K" with her. Backpacked the Bigelow Range with her, and resupplied her at the trail crossing in Rangeley. Next I plan on Hiking in the Speck Pond trail, meeting her when she arrives, spending the night and then hiking Mahoosuc Notch and then departing on the Notch trail back to my truck. In CVR, the plank across the river was down, and the river was too high to cross so I took her to Sugarloaf and she hiked up the "Loaf" to the AT so she could stay on schedule. Her trail name is Magellan.
