Carter-Moriah Trail and Trail Head status?

Does anyone know the status of trek up to Moriah from Bangor Road? Found this article on the interwebs:

Says the road was damaged, but passable. Couldn't find anything on the trail conditions post Irene.

Heres one.

Bookmark the site if you haven't already. Often times it contains different (or more) reports than VFTT, if nothing else it is a great supplement to those here.

I also had a newby backpacker friend hike it the next weekend after Irene. If she made it unscathed, so can you I'd assume.

I was there 2 weeks ago today - no issues on Bangor Rd. Carter Moriah trail was wet at the top and had a few easy to navigate around blowdowns - Stonybrook trail was in excellent condition.
