cathedral pines?

I have been driving past this for several years and have never been able to see the trail head for this. I stopped at one location I thought it might be and it was a snowmobile trail. I thought it would be a nice side trip on the way home, especially in the autimn. Can anyone tell me where this is?

It is on the left about a mile north on 28 from the fishing access site on 7th lake. There was a signpost that was set back off from the road the last time I was back there. Its a short little jaunt but well worth the stop to see some of the most majestic pines the ADK's have to offer. Heres some pics from when I went last time.

There is also a Cathedral Pines in Cornwall CT. They were heavily damaged by three 1989 tornadoes, but they are still impressive. The 50 Hikes in Connecticut book contains an entry for Cathedral Pines and Mohawk Mountain.
