I did Morris cave in vermont (I went with some experienced cavers!) a few times, years ago. Some good resources might be:

If you are getting started, I suggest you try getting involved with an experienced group.

All of us being hikers/backpackers we are obviously adventurous people. I think I'll have to start checking out caving and have yet another excuse to get away!
