Celebrating the start of Winter

Anyone want to celebrate the start of winter with a ADK hike on Friday, Dec.22nd?
I'm not very particular about what I climb, so feel free to make a suggestion.

Hey Alistair,
It just so happens that I am off that day as well and would like to get a quick start to the winter season. I'd be happy to join you in a frosty jaunt. I've got a few for consideration - Colvin/Blake, Street/Nye, Dix/Hough, any of the Seward or Santanonis. Short day may favor a shortish hike like Street/Nye but if there is snow we could XC the approach to Ausable Lake or the road into the Santanoni trail.

Street/ Nye may be good to stretch out my legs after a lazy summer and fall season. We would need to check on the brook crossing.
