Colden Trap Dike, Ski SE slides 3/29

TonyL, I don't think anything has changed; I'd stick with my old post. On 3/29, even the newest, rockiest slide was pretty well covered, and some fellows skinned up it and skied it. I'm not sure if they were able to get good cover all the way to the top. I like using the older slide at the top, because the snow is more reliable.

The Lisa, what a great day to be out! We were at Whiteface enjoying the slush.

You mean you really were at Whiteface and not Iceface? Nice.
It was a day of contrasts - the tele skier was originally going to do the West Ramp slide but overtook us on the SE Slide saying the ramp was very icy. Hmm, sketchy steep ice or gentle corn snow, so hard to decide.....
