Mt. Tecumseh Trail Fee

We hiked Mt. Tecumseh from the north, Saturday, 10/30/10, parking at the lot off Tripoli Road. The green fee tube looked as though it had been taped up, but the tape had been removed. Envelopes were there for the taking; the tube was open for accepting fees. Made me wonder if a person, rather than an agency, had taped tubes closed? One of us had a Senior pass that we put on the dashboard, and I didn't notice what the other car in the parking lot had for a sticker. (Mine is out-of-date.)

Good to hear that the AMC is again providing USFS parking passes for the volunteer trail adopters as I thought that they stopped doing that a few years ago.

FWIW, the AMC provides them, but they have to buy them from the USFS at face value.
