I was down to my last two peaks for the 115. Having done Both the Presidential and Great Range Traverses in a day I have wanted to do the Devils Path. I just finished Slide for 114 the day before. Why not knock out both the 115 and Devils Path at the same time.
I recruited a sucker to join in the fun and share a shuttle and headed out on 9/7 in sweltering humidity and increasing risk of thunderstorms. 28 miles, 6 summits, 9,000 vertical feet, two thunderstorms, and a NE115 in the bag- mission accomplished 13.5 hours later. For more photos and full TR see my blog at the link. The Devil's Path
