Devils Path Dayhike May 11 - 13

the grand ole hike will indeed take place on the 12th of May.. The 13th of May will include a race home to see mommy.

As far as trail conditions are concerned, we will be monitoring them closely. The Devils Path is in very bad shape in several places.

An alt. plan is to Day Hike the WCS to the Giant Ledge Panther Mtn Trail to Fox Hollow. That is a 24 mile rugged as all get out hike. Campsites are being reserved in Woodland Valley Campground.

That is probably a better hike, given the conditions... I'm sure you folks know the WCS/BR trail is fairly wide so it might make the scrambles easier than say the summit ridge on Plateau...

That is probably the first weekend Woodland Valley is open, no?
