Trail Conditions: Nicely packed out down below..icy spots on the ledges..hardpacked windblown snow in spots as well
Equipment needed: Barebootable to the ledges..some form of traction from there. I used Katooluhs from the bottem ledge to the summit then most of the way down..Windy on top
Comments: Lot of bang for the buck on this trail with non stop views from first ledges up..interesting views into the Pemi Wilderness and a great angle on Kinsmans and Cannon.. Surprising little snow down below but up above 2000 feet or so there is 18-24 inches in places. Snowboarders and sledders have most of the trail smoothed out and packed so pretty easy going with minor traction aids.
