Date of Hike: 10-05-08
Trail: Round Pond trail to Dix
Trail Conditions: Beautiful fall trail below, some wet snow on the trees above 3500ft but the trail was pretty much free of ice and snow.
Special Equipment Required: none
Comments: What a great hike! Day was a little overcast but the views were amazing. Looks like far more snow fell on Marcy, Algonquin etc. but still a little on Dix. Took some time to enjoy #46 on the summit and soak in the views of the high peaks.
