I just hiked the Dix range this weekend and I felt EXACTLY the same way you did about those last 3.8 miles. After all that up and down I thought the decent was never going to end!
Felt the same way about the mud too, by that time I had no energy to carefully manouever around it, just plowed right through!
Finishing that range made 20 for me.
Congrats on your 46, the champagne was a nice touch!
