Does it count?

Last Saturday I ran up Wildcat in the Wildman biathlon. After finishing the race you had to take the gondola down. Can I still count this as a bagged peak?

Unfortunately, the peak does not count towards the AMC 4000 footers list.

To Quote the AMC 4000 footer website "A. The basic rule is very simple: You must climb (on foot!) to and from the summit of each peak on the list. In winter skis and snowshoes are both allowed. "

I was walking down while you guys were running up, after climbing Wildcat Ridge and bagging D. Did you see the moose?

Nope I missed him but someone I competed with saw it. Were you the person going down with trekking poles?
